Accounts Receivable Manager Vaco LLC
- $90,000–$110,000 Per Year
Revenue Accounting Manager
LHH is partnering with a growing, multi-location organization seeking a hands-on Revenue Accounting Manager to lead its revenue and accounts receivable functions.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting leader who enjoys solving complex reconciliation issues, developing a team, and improving processes. The role requires someone who understands how transactions move from operational systems into the ERP and ultimately affect revenue, commissions, the general ledger, and financial reporting.
This position will manage a combination of domestic employees and overseas support. The right person will provide leadership and structure while remaining comfortable getting into the details, researching variances, correcting entries, and helping the team resolve issues when transactions do not reconcile.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Leading revenue accounting, customer billing, cash application, collections, and accounts receivable activities
Managing the monthly revenue close, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Researching discrepancies involving sales activity, pricing, promotions, commissions, rebates, payments, and revenue allocations
Reviewing and correcting accounting entries when transactions do not flow properly
Ensuring sales information from external partners is uploaded and recorded accurately within the ERP
Maintaining the integrity of customer, location, pricing, commission, and revenue-related data
Understanding how operational changes and promotions affect revenue, commissions, and downstream reporting
Leading, coaching, and cross-training a team of AR professionals
Coordinating priorities and quality expectations with overseas accounting support
Establishing stronger workflows, documentation, controls, and team accountability
Partnering closely with Operations, Sales, Legal, Account Management, and Accounting
Supporting the setup of new locations, ownership changes, pricing updates, and customer information
Analyzing revenue trends, margins, aging, collections, and other performance indicators
Developing useful reporting and dashboards for accounting and business leadership
Supporting internal and external audits
Identifying opportunities to automate, standardize, and scale revenue processes
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
Progressive experience in revenue accounting, accounts receivable, or a related accounting function
Previous experience supervising or managing an accounting or AR team
Hands-on experience completing detailed reconciliations and investigating complex variances
Strong understanding of debits, credits, journal entries, and the general ledger impact of revenue and AR activity
Experience with customer billing, cash application, collections, revenue adjustments, and month-end close
Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, complex formulas, and large-volume data analysis
Experience working within an ERP and understanding how operational data flows into accounting and financial reporting
Ability to train employees, review their work, and step in to correct entries or resolve difficult issues
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to remain effective in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities and some ambiguity
Experience That Would Be a Plus
NetSuite experience
Experience supporting a multi-location business
Background working with franchise, retail, hospitality, food service, or another transaction-heavy business model
Experience with sales commissions, revenue-sharing arrangements, rebates, promotions, or other complex revenue calculations
Previous responsibility for a combination of domestic and overseas accounting support
NetSuite optimization or accounting automation experience
Experience stabilizing a department, rebuilding processes, or adding structure during a period of growth or change
CPA or CMA certification
Why Consider This Role?
This is not a position where you will simply review reports and delegate tasks. You'll have the opportunity to understand the business, solve real accounting problems, and help rebuild processes that support a large and growing operation.
You'll lead an established team, work closely with operational leaders, and have meaningful influence over revenue accuracy, reporting, automation, and long-term scalability.
If you are a hands-on accounting leader who can move comfortably between detailed reconciliation work, team development, and process improvement, we'd like to hear from you.
