We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Accounts Receivable Manager to lead and oversee the AR function. This role is responsible for managing billing, collections, and cash application processes while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a process-improvement mindset, and the ability to partner cross-functionally with finance and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounts receivable operations, including invoicing, cash application, and collections
Manage and develop AR staff, providing coaching, training, and performance oversight
Monitor aging reports and proactively address past-due accounts to reduce DSO
Establish and maintain strong customer relationships to support timely payments and resolve disputes
Ensure accurate and timely billing in accordance with company policies and client agreements
Lead month-end close activities related to AR, including reconciliations and reporting
Develop, implement, and improve AR processes and internal controls
Partner with accounting, sales, and operations teams to ensure alignment on billing and collections
Support audits and ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
Qualifications:
5+ years of accounts receivable or credit/collections experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of AR processes, billing, cash application, and collections strategies
Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent communication and customer relationship management abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing high-volume or multi-entity AR environments
Background in process improvements and system implementations
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $98,000.00 per year
