Accounts Receivable Manager

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager in Houston, TX for a long term contract.

Summary: In this role, the Accounts Receivable Manager will be responsible for reconciliation of accounts, identifying the root cause of issues, and clearing past-due accounts within our Accounts Receivables department as well as assist with customer credit analysis.

Essential Job Functions:

• Review accounts receivable portfolio and assist the collection specialists to identify focus accounts and invoices using a risk-based approach
• Work with collection specialist to prepare and review account summaries, reconciliations, including identifying and developing strategies to reconcile, prioritize, and clear accounts
• Assist team members with root cause analysis for reconciling items
• Actively engage daily by providing guidance to other departments (customer service, sales, billing, tax, pricing, etc.) to communicate and address identified issues
• Assist management with special projects and ad hoc reporting such as credit limit utilization, credit block reporting, credit analysis, working capital and DSO variance analysis
• Assist with process and procedures documentation, including suggesting continuous process improvement opportunities
