Accounts Receivable Representative

Our client, a nonprofit organization in the greater Bridgeport area, is seeking an AR Rep. This is a temp-to-hire assignment Your background and strong skills are key for this role. Pay $22.00 - $25.00 hourly

• Manage insurance authorizations, eligibility verification, and payer communications to ensure continuous coverage and reimbursement
• Track service units, authorization timelines, and recertification dates to prevent gaps and minimize write-offs
• Support clients with insurance applications (including HUSKY) and coordinate with state agencies and clinical teams to maximize benefits
• Maintain accurate records through timely data entry and completion of administrative tasks (filing, scanning, reporting)
• Oversee collections processes, including client payments, income verification, aging follow-ups, and reconciliation reporting
