Accounts Receivable Specialist

Responsibilities:

Performs a variety of accounting functions in the accounts receivable area. Responsible for posting insurance remits and patient remits, as well as working payment reject lists and non-paid correspondence. 

 

Qualifications:

REQUIRED

 

1. One year of payment posting experience.

 

PREFERRED

 

1. Two (2) or more years of college or vocational education with emphasis in Accounting or Business.
2. Basic knowledge of insurance remittance & EOBs.
3. Basic keyboard skills.
4. Basic reading, writing and arithmetic.
5. Professional verbal and written communication.
6. Basic computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite
