Advanced Personnel Resources is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity with one of our clients in the Triad area. This is a newly created role that will support the accounting team with accounts receivable functions, invoicing support, payment processing, account reconciliation, and customer account follow-up.The ideal candidate will have strong Accounts Receivable experience, excellent attention to detail, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.Employment Type: Temp-to-HirePay: $31.25 per hour / $65,000 annuallyKey ResponsibilitiesMonitor customer accounts to identify outstanding balancesContact customers regarding payment statusInvestigate and resolve billing issuesApply payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepanciesProcess incoming payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfersPrepare and analyze monthly aging reportsSupport invoicing and accounts receivable processesAssist with month-end closing responsibilitiesSupport annual audit requests as neededMaintain accurate records and documentationCommunicate professionally with customers and internal departmentsManage multiple priorities while meeting deadlinesComplete additional duties as assigned by managementRequired Experience and Skills2+ years of Accounts Receivable experienceStrong understanding of basic accounting principlesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and related functionsSAP experience highly desiredStrong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and ExcelAbility to resolve problems and think analyticallyExcellent attention to detailStrong organizational skillsProfessional written and verbal communication skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesEducation RequirementsHigh school diploma requiredDegree in Accounting preferredIdeal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a professional accounting environment.
