Job Description
Accentuate Staffing is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for our client in RTP, NC 27709. The Accounts Receivable Specialist reports to the Controller and will assist in ensuring that the company receives payment for goods and services provided to customers.
Job Responsibilities
Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.
Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.
Takes customer calls for invoicing, payments and other inquiries related to billing.
Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and calls delinquent accountholders to request payment.
Creates reports regarding the status of customer accounts as requested.
Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts.
Collaborates with the Accounting team to reconcile accounts receivable which includes calling customers.
Assists in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger.
Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed.

Qualifications
Associate's in Business preferred or equivalent with 2-5 years of previous office experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Good organizational, mathematical, data entry and word processing skills.
Must be detail oriented and keen ability for problem solving.
Ability to use a calculator and PC; should be proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Experience with Business Central a plus.
