• This role will focus on maintaining accurate customer billing, processing payments, monitoring outstanding balances, and supporting the day-to-day accounts receivable functions of the accounting department

Job Duties for the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

• 
  
• Prepare and issue customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner
• 
  
• Process and apply incoming payments while ensuring customer accounts remain up to date
• 
  
• Review account activity, track outstanding balances, and assist with collection efforts as needed
• 
  
• Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and support reporting requirements
• 
  
• Address customer questions related to billing and payment activity
• 
  
• Assist with month-end accounting processes and account reconciliations
• 
  
• Partner with internal departments to resolve billing concerns and improve workflow efficiency
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain confidentiality of financial information
• 
  

Qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

• 
  
• 2-5 years of accounts receivable experience required
• 
  
• Basic MS Excel skills
• 
  
• Comfortable working with manual and tedious processes and systems
• 
  
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
• 
  

Schedule: Fully on site in Linthicum, MD. M-F 40 hours per week
Salary: $55,000-$62,000
