Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Michigan City, IN
Pay: $45,000–$55,000, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday | On-Site

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Receivables Specialist to support the daily accounts receivable and accounting functions of a multi-location retail organization. This role is responsible for cash reporting, invoicing, payment processing, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile daily cash reports and store sales activity.

• Prepare, send, and track invoices and customer payments.

• Apply cash receipts and deposit incoming checks.

• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Process store billing, transfers, and supporting documentation.

  
  
• 
  

• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

  
  
• 
  

• Communicate with store locations regarding financial information and reporting needs.

Qualifications

• 
  

• 1+ year of accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience.

  
  
• 
  

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  
  
• 
  

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and computer systems.

  
  
• 
  

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  
  
• 
  

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Experience in retail, grocery, or multi-location operations.
