About the Role

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and maintaining strong customer relationships. This Accounts Receivable Specialist position offers the opportunity to work with modern systems, contribute to process improvements, and be part of a dynamic accounting team.

Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Receivable Specialist

• Access NetSuite daily to review bank transactions and accurately match customer payments to open invoices
• 
  
• Record and apply payments, mark invoices as paid, and maintain accurate AR records as an Accounts Receivable Specialist
• 
  
• Manage the AR inbox, including monitoring incoming emails and following up with customers on outstanding balances (email only)
• 
  
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations by coding transactions and ensuring statements align with system records
• 
  
• Maintain organization, accuracy, and attention to detail across all AR processes in this Accounts Receivable Specialist role

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Specialist

• 
  
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 
  
• Experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections
• 
  
• Familiarity with NetSuite (ERP) or ability to learn systems quickly
• 
  
• Experience with other ERP systems is a plus
• 
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• 
  
• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
•
