For additional details, visit our website: Description This is a full-time, on-site Accounts Receivable Specialist role located in Schenectady, NY. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable processes, creating and sending invoices to customers based on project completion. Accurate invoicing is critical. Ideal candidates must be able to navigate sales tax rules and obtain proper exemption certificates, receive and record payments from customers, including cash, checks, electronic and credit cards. You will assist with follow up of overdue accounts through phone calls and emails. Other responsibilities include balancing and reconciliation of projects and accounts and resolving payment discrepancies. The specialist will act as a liaison between customers and other departments within the organization and participate in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company and job functions.
