Accounts Receivable Specialist
An established and growing manufacturing client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support a high-volume accounting team on a contract basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working across billing, collections, and cash application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume customer invoicing and ensure billing accuracy
- Post daily cash receipts and manage cash application activities
- Monitor and maintain AR aging; proactively follow up on outstanding balances
- Perform collections via phone and email while maintaining strong customer relationships
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and deductions
- Reconcile customer accounts and support month-end close activities
- Generate AR reports and communicate account status to internal stakeholders
- Partner with sales, operations, and customer service to resolve issues and improve processes
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Experience with high-volume transactions and fast-paced workflows
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
- ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar preferred)
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills
Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
