Job Details

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to oversee AR operations for a single-family and service division. This individual will initially operate as a hands-on contributor, learning the transactional flow of the business, before stepping into a leadership role guiding a small team.

This role blends execution with leadership, requiring someone comfortable managing day-to-day AR responsibilities while mentoring team members, handling escalations, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute billing, collections, and cash application for both construction and service-related customers
  • Manage AR aging reports on a weekly basis and support month-end reconciliation efforts
  • Handle escalations, customer inquiries, and complex billing scenarios
  • Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and support to a small AR team (under 5)
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Partner with leadership to ensure timely and accurate reporting and workflow consistency

Qualifications
  • 4+ years of accounts receivable or billing experience
  • 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Experience in construction, service-based industries, or similar environments preferred
  • Strong understanding of AR processes, including aging, collections, and reconciliation
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with changing priorities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear, professional feedback
