Job SummaryWe are filling an entry level Accounts Receivable Support role to support the collections process along with other operational support.Core ResponsibilitiesManage customer service support & phone support to deliver fast, friendly, and effective resolutionsConduct research on missing or misapplied payments from checks, cash, EFT, credit cards, or online banking using web tools. Review bank documentation and payment receipts provided by customers, involving occasional customer interactionReview and analyze customer accounts weekly to decide if credit balances require transferring, debiting, or refundingMake recommendations to hold or transfer misapplied funds or refunds. Conduct timely research on delayed payment requestsEnsure accurate application and reconciliation of payments to designated accounts and proper journal entry codingCoordinate with customers and internal stakeholders for ACH setup, including account set up, posting ACH payments, and processing reclassesReconcile daily cash payments and research missing deposits or bank corrections. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for investigationsRecommend process improvements and facilitate team meetings, trainings, and projects as necessaryIdentify trends and recommend improvements based on findingsMaintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
