The Accounts Receivable Tech Performs routine accounting activities such as data entry, maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports.

Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process all aspects of accounts receivable (billings) for a variety of government, commercial, and non-profit customers related to various kinds of contracts and customers.
• Performs routine accounting activities such as data entry.
• Reviews, codes, and verify transactions including billings, invoices, checks, and journal entries.
• preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports.
• Answer receivable inquiries and follow up with customers or subsidiaries as needed.
• Reconciles accounts and bank statements.
• Assist with related special projects and support team members as required.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

• High school diploma
• May require 1-3 year of general work experience.)
• Successfully pass background and drug screening

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Costpoint.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Basic data entry skills.
• Keyboard.
• Working knowledge of accounting processing software, Internet browser, the Excel spreadsheet application, and any word processing software.
