Job Duties:
- Submit claims accurately and within required timeframes.
- Review payment explanations and denials to identify account issues.
- Validate payments for accuracy and contract compliance.
- Monitor payer portals and follow up on payment discrepancies as needed.
- Manage billing for primary and secondary coverage.
- Perform follow‑up on all assigned accounts.
- Respond to payer inquiries related to assigned accounts.
- Conduct status checks and determine appeal eligibility.
- Document all account activity thoroughly.
- Complete assigned work queues and tasks.
- Escalate trends, questions, or concerns to leadership.
- Perform data processing including batching, posting, and corrections.
- Apply appropriate denial, adjustment, and remittance codes.
- Reconcile remittances.
- Support additional projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior billing or revenue cycle experience required.
- 2+ years of experience in transaction processing or denial resolution.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency with database and billing systems.
- Ability to calculate percentages and related figures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret payer rules, regulations, and technical documentation.

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 4pm OR 8am - 4:30pm CST

- Type: Contract-to-hire
- Pay: $23/ hour
