Accounts Specialist Distribution

The Accounts Specialist handles general accounting functions including accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), general ledgers (G/L), weekly budgeting, and assists in monthly closes. Also has customer service responsibilities within the distribution center. This position will report to the General Manager.

• Prepares weekly operating budgets/projections
• Analyzes and reconciles accounts
• Provides assistance on the monthly close
• Prepares reports for management
• Enters journal entries, coordinates A/P, A/R and G/L
• Answers emails and phone calls that are not limited to small parcel quotes for customer service, questions from customers, AR details/questions from NFI AR, and invoice requests.
• Responsible for billing customer accounts
• Ensuring customer rate increases are initiated and maintained
• Other administrative tasks as directed by local management specific to the facility's needs

• High School Diploma
• At least 1 year or more experience in office accounting experience
• Computer applications using MS Office
• Attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong mathematical aptitude
• Strong communication skills
• Strong MS Office experience, including Excel

Other:

• Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and potentially holidays as needed by the facility

We are excited to share the base hourly rate for this position is $21.50$X/HOUR.  NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, geographic location, when determining a starting rate of pay.  This position may also be eligible for an additional $X/HOUR  based on shift work.
