Job Title: ACH Operations Analyst / Financial Operations
Location: Johnston, RI – Onsite
Pay Rate: $22/hr W2
Duration: 3 Months
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hrs/week)

Notes / Hiring Manager Insights:
  • Backfill Role: Supporting mailbox requests from other financial institutions, reversing unauthorized transactions, and recouping accounts.
  • Mailbox Management: Identify request types, monitor and track cases using Salesforce, learn additional queue functions.
  • Team Support: Ensure case completeness, stop payments, follow KPIs to measure productivity.
  • Training: Full training will be provided, including tasks supporting the EPP migration project.
  • Ideal Background: Financial back-office operations, strong attendance and punctuality.
  • Tools Used: Outlook, Salesforce (Tableau not required).
  • ACH Experience: Helpful but not mandatory.
  • Soft Skills: Punctuality, time management, willingness to learn, ability to complete core tasks efficiently and take on more responsibilities.

The ACH Operations Analyst supports daily automated clearing house (ACH) origination and receipt processes, ensuring accurate and timely file transmission for Bank's Originators and the clearing house. This role provides administrative support for ODFI (Origination) and RDFI (Receiving) functions in a fast-paced environment governed by NACHA SLAs. Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong communication are essential due to direct customer impact.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Handle tasks primarily associated with Receiving Depository Financial Institution (RDFI) functions.
  • Provide phone and email support for ACH Operations, assisting Client's corporate customers and internal teams.
  • Research and resolve internal/external ACH account inquiries.
  • Perform daily responsibilities tied to departmental processes and service levels.
  • Support the team in meeting daily and monthly deadlines.
  • Learn new system processes and software quickly; willingness to train on more complex ODFI functions.
  • Adhere to bank policies and all departmental procedures.
  • Demonstrate strong time management, prioritization, reliability, flexibility, and professionalism.
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:
  • 3–5 years of Financial Operations experience required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete repetitive tasks quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with SLA-driven timelines.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook; strong keyboard speed and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective team player.
  • Education: Associate degree preferred.
