What You’ll Do
- Operate Acme Gridley multi-spindle automatic screw machines to manufacture precision components to specification.
- Inspect coolant, oil level, and air pressure before operating the machine.
- Use shop packages effectively: manufacturing orders, bills of materials, routings, part prints, job layouts, and quality alerts.
- Ensure only gages and tools in use are within calibration dates.
- Run multiple machines at once as required by the routing.
- Produce product to established quality standards; alert your direct supervisor if any non-conforming product is found.
- Perform quality checks per the Inspection Record and related documents.
- Request raw materials in a timely manner and follow all inventory accuracy procedures.
- Practice safe work habits; report unsafe conditions to supervisory or safety team members.
- Replace worn tools and use a bench grinder to sharpen tools.
- Demonstrate respectful, professional behavior with all employees.
What You’ll Bring

- Strong mechanical aptitude with hand tools and measuring instruments.

- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of relevant machining experience.
