ACP Physician Assistant (2779) - Thimble Shoals

Tidewater Physicians Multispecialty Group is actively seeking a  Physician Assistant to practice out of our Thimble Shoals Family Medicine location in Newport News, VA. Tidewater Physicians Multispecialty Group (TPMG) is comprised of over 200 physicians and advanced practice clinicians and is the largest physician-owned group on the Peninsula. The schedule will be Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for a total of 32 hours per week.

 

We are a busy, established office seeking a team-player who is organized, energetic, ability to chart well, reliable, excited, efficient, able to handle the pressures of a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional care and customer service to our patients. We require you to be eager to learn, friendly, joyful, a self starter with the motivation to give attention to detail on a daily basis.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Collaborating with various medical disciplines across the organization while providing excellent patient care and complete care documentation and other administrative functions required. Developing treatment plans and order routine and special laboratory studies. 

 

We are seeking a well-rounded candidate with a pleasant, winning attitude. The ideal candidate currently possesses or has the ability to obtain DEA, license to practice in State of Virginia, and a current BLS and ACLS certification.
