Tidewater Physicians Multispecialty Group (TPMG) is actively seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. TPMG Behavioral Health is a busy, established out-patient office seeking to grow their clinical team. We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner team-player who is an expert with medication management and building therapeutic rapport. Must demonstrate having a person-centered approach to delivering quality patient care, have the ability to recognize his/her own limitations when responding to difficult situations, collaborate effectively with the clinical/management team, and skillfully work in a self-motivated and independent manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members as well as with patients. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with treating general adult/geriatric population and working well with a consulting psychiatrist. On-call is quarterly low volume and telephone only.
