?JOB DESCRIPTION:

SAIC is seeking an Acquisition and Contracts Support Administrator in Chantilly, VA to support a dynamic effort. This position will support acquisition and programmatic activities for major satellite programs. The job requires familiarity with multiple DoD and IC organizations, processes, and satellite systems. To perform the role the successful candidate must:
  • Provide direct support to a contracting authority in execution of their duties and responsibilities
  • Provide contracting assistance to technical personnel involved in development of statement-of-work or data deliverable requirements
  • Be responsible for monitoring and coordinating correspondence, reports, and related items for the contracts, finance and front office
  • Assist in preparing contract modifications and supporting documentation for actions such as funding, award fee, period of performance extensions, and admin modifications
  • Implement and deliver executive administration best practices; resolve issues when they arise
  • Prepare reports as directed
  • Effectively communicate with leadership to status contract activities
  • Support all business processes and battle rhythms
  • Work collaboratively with leadership as well as internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain tracking process and tools; maintain status; provide metrics
  • Prepare senior leaders for critical decision-making meetings, liaise with technical experts, and properly communicate with vendors
  • Work with program schedulers to develop schedules depicting major activities and responsibilities
  • Track key dates, develop schedules, lead communication efforts, and maintain organized records


Qualifications
  • ?TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience In lieu of Bachelors degree 8+ years of recent and relevant experience may be considered
  • Expert in DoD administrative and records management systems and processes.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Defense Travel System (DTS)
  • Experience working with executive-level internal and external customers.
  • Experience and maturity in providing direct support to an executive level customer
  • Experience using tools, repositories, and databases including SharePoint, Livelink, Excel, Access, Task Management Tracker, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency preparing contract files for review
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate between Government organizations and summarize contract related information for presentations
  • Active TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI
  • Willingness to obtain other clearances
