    Linda MacDonald State Farm is seeking a service-driven Acquisitions Specialist who enjoys helping people, building relationships, and is open to growing into a sales-focused role. This position is ideal for someone who leads with customer care, communicates effectively, and can identify opportunities to recommend additional coverage when it benefits the customer.

    Licensing Requirement (Job Contingent)

    This position is contingent upon obtaining required insurance licenses.

    • Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to your Day 1 start (full support provided)
     • Life & Health license must be obtained within 90 days of your start date
     • We provide guidance, resources, and support to help you successfully complete the licensing process

    Role Overview

    As an Acquisitions Specialist, you will focus on customer interaction, outreach, and relationship-building, while supporting agency growth through thoughtful, needs-based conversations. This role starts with a strong service foundation and includes the opportunity to develop sales skills over time.

    Success in this role is measured by customer engagement, activity, and contribution to both service and growth initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    Engage with prospective and existing customers through calls, emails, and outreach

    Provide a positive, helpful customer experience in every interaction

    Build and maintain relationships to support long-term retention and trust

    Follow up on leads, referrals, and marketing opportunities

    Assist in identifying customer needs and recommending solutions when appropriate

    Schedule appointments and support agency growth initiatives

    Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and activity

    Collaborate with team members to support office goals and customer satisfaction

    Ensure compliance with agency standards and applicable regulations

    Qualifications

    Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication skills

    Ability to build relationships and establish trust quickly

    Organized and detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities

    Comfortable engaging in conversations and learning sales skills

    Positive, team-oriented attitude

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    Prior customer service, outreach, or sales experience preferred

    Ability to meet licensing requirements outlined above
