Acquisitions Analyst

Our California based affordable housing developer client is adding an Acquisitions Analyst or Associate to their local team. This is a newly created role supporting land acquisition statewide, reporting to the Director of Acquisitions. In this role, you will manage due diligence, and keep active deals moving while getting exposure to how pursuits get sourced, approved, and closed. The role is based in San Diego on a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Run numbers on prospective land acquisitions and support deal analysis
• Manage due diligence across active pursuits
• Process and track environmental, governmental, and contracting reports
• Handle follow up on open deal items and keep pursuits on schedule
• Support the Director of Acquisitions on sourcing, diligence, and closing activity across California
• Coordinate with development and finance teams as deals move toward approval

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 3 years in real estate development, acquisitions, or assistant project management
• Comfort working in Excel and running basic deal analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with affordable housing or multifamily development
• Experience coordinating environmental and entitlement related reporting
