Job Skills / Requirements
ACT 235 Certified Armed Security Supervisor
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00am to 5:00pm
Location: Reading, PA
Pay: $30.38 Per Hour
We are currently hiring an ACT 235 Certified Armed Security Field Supervisor for 1st shift. This is a supervisor position that requires prior Security Supervisor experience, and the ability to oversee a 7 man security team.
What You'll Do:
- Patrol assigned interior/exterior areas by foot,
- Monitor surroundings and report suspicious activity
- Respond quickly to incidents in line with company policy and use-of-force guidelines
- Write detailed reports and maintain daily activity logs (DARs)
- Enforce site policies, post orders, and client rules
- Support customer service needs throughout the facility
- Stay informed on site-specific emergency protocols
- Supervise a 7-man security team
- On site client liaison
- Training new employees and ongoing current staff
What You Need:
- Current ACT 235 certification
- Security Supervisor experience
- Personal firearm, level 2+ holster, and duty belt
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1-3 years of Security Supervisor experience in security
- Law enforcement and/or military preferred
- Strong written communication for report writing
- Reliable transportation to and from the site
- Ability to pass a background check
