Our client, a distinguished healthcare provider committed to delivering comprehensive mental health services, is hiring a Part-Time ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) Psychiatrist. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to impact community-based psychiatric care through collaborative, patient-centered treatment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients receiving community-based care.
Provide ongoing medication management and monitor treatment progress to ensure effective mental health outcomes.
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including social workers, nurse practitioners, and case managers to deliver integrated care.
Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and coordinate community outreach efforts.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment progress.
Support program development initiatives aimed at enhancing community treatment services.
Engage in periodic supervision and provide guidance to clinical staff as necessary.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of post-residency psychiatric experience, preferably in community or outpatient settings.
Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
A valid medical license to practice psychiatry in the respective state.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach to patient care.
Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
Familiarity with community mental health resources and treatment modalities.
Additional certifications such as CPR or crisis intervention training are advantageous but not mandatory.
Flexibility in scheduling, with options for morning or evening shifts, and availability for occasional after-hours or weekend coverage preferred.
