Role: Actimize Engineer
Location: Richmond, VA (Preferred)

Salary Range: $65-$70/hr

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience with Actimize (ActOne required)
  • Strong experience with Java development
  • Hands-on experience with Actimize modules (ActOne, STAR preferred)
  • Solid knowledge of SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting
  • Experience working in AWS cloud environments
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows platforms
  • Understanding of financial crime / AML domain (preferred)

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Python or PowerShell scripting
  • Exposure to DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Experience with Actimize configuration tools (ActOne Designer, Visual Modeler)
  • Prior experience in banking or financial services

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Provide production (BAU) support for Actimize-based applications (~50%)
  • Perform configuration and customization using Actimize tools such as ActOne Designer and Visual Modeler (~30%)
  • Develop and enhance application features using Java (~20%)
  • Troubleshoot issues, analyze logs, and resolve production incidents
  • Work with SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting (not heavy backend development)
  • Support case management workflows within financial crime systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including offshore partners
  • Participate in ongoing enhancements and system improvements
  • Utilize scripting (Python/PowerShell) for automation where required
