This position in responsible for implementing and engaging in the assigned daily activities to meet the needs of the residents and assisting in the tasks of front desk as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists with planning and implementing activities that meet the needs and interest of the residents
- Assumes responsibility for set-up and clean-up of daily activities scheduled
- Assists with creating a monthly social program calendar and distributes them to community personnel and residents
- Keeps residents engaged between planned social activities
- Answers and screens all incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Receives and processes mail for the community
- Monitors security alarms, resident emergency call system and front door security
- Participates in and attends all in-service training as scheduled
- Ensures compliance with all Federal, State and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new application
- One to two years related experience in leading activities for the elderly
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
