Activities Aide

Do you enjoy making a difference in the lives of seniors? Canton Christian Home is looking for a compassionate, energetic, and creative Activities Aide to help provide meaningful activities and social opportunities for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning and leading daily activities for residents.
• Encourage resident participation in group and individual activities.
• Help organize games, crafts, music, exercise, bingo, holiday events, and community outings.
• Transport residents safely to and from activities when needed.
• Set up and clean up activity areas and supplies.
• Build positive relationships with residents and their families.
• Document resident participation as required.
• Work closely with the Activities Director and other departments to provide engaging programs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience working with seniors is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, patient, and compassionate personality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be dependable, organized, and enthusiastic.
• CNA license is preferred but not required
