Responsibilities:
Activities Assistants are enthusiastic, creative, resourceful, and consistently positive team members who play a vital role in enhancing residents’ quality of life. In this role, you will follow a structured daily activities calendar designed for residents with varying physical and cognitive abilities.
Activities may include:
- Games and group activities
- Live performers and entertainment
- Themed parties and special events
- Arts and crafts
- Discussion groups and social engagement opportunities
- A wide variety of other recreational and therapeutic activities
This position requires energy, flexibility, and a genuine passion for creating meaningful, engaging experiences for every resident.
Qualifications:
- Part Time Hours
- Schedule: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
- Every-other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
Lorien Taneytown is nestled in Carroll County, MD and close to the border of southern PA.
