As activities assistant, you provide and supervise enrichment opportunities to meet the physical, social, cultural, spiritual, emotional, and recreational needs of each patient/resident. You assist the care team and residents' families helping residents reach their highest potential.
You will:
Provide resident activities on a group and individual basis
Promote and follow the monthly schedule of activities
Document medical records regarding residents' attitude, participation level, etc., and attend care conferences
Report to the activities director
You currently:
Work independently
Relate positively and effectively with others
Advocate for the senior population
possess a valid driver's license and private vehicle
