Medical Hill Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable On-Call Activity Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will help create and lead engaging activities that enhance the quality of life, social engagement, and emotional well-being of our residents. Position Details

• Position: Activity Assistant
• Status: On-Call
• Pay Rate:$17.00-$18.75 per hour
• Location: Medical Hill Healthcare Center

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, organizing, and facilitating recreational, social, educational, and therapeutic activities.
• Encourage resident participation and engagement in scheduled programs.
• Set up and clean activity areas before and after programs.
• Escort residents to and from activities as needed.
• Assist with holiday celebrations, special events, and community outings.
• Maintain activity supplies and equipment.
• Document resident attendance and participation.
• Create a positive, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all residents.
• Provide friendly and compassionate interaction with residents while supporting their individual interests and needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors, healthcare, recreation, or activity programs is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate, patient, energetic, and enthusiastic personality.
• Ability to work with residents with varying levels of mobility and cognitive function.
• Reliable and flexible availability to work on an on-call basis.
