NOTICE OF VACANCY

POSITION: Assistant Coach - Boys Volleyball

LOCATION: Southington High School

SALARY: $3,954.00 - $5,020.00 stipend

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

To assist and direct the boys volleyball team under the direction of the head coach. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: instruction and practice of skills and techniques; sportsmanship; contest preparation with applied knowledge of game concepts and strategies; purchasing, scheduling, supervising and record keeping.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must hold a CT coaching permit, have a current CPR and First Aid card, and have CT Coaching Education Program (CCEP) Module 15-Concussion and Head Injury education. Candidate should have thorough knowledge of the sport / activity and demonstrate technical and tactical knowledge of the sport. Ability to motivate high school student athletes. Consideration shall be given to past coaching experience.
