NOTICE OF VACANCY

POSITION: Head Coach - Softball

LOCATION: Southington High School

SALARY: $6,587.00 - $7,866.00 stipend

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

To direct, supervise and train the girls softball team at the high school level. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: instruction and practice of skills and techniques, sportsmanship and team play, contest preparation with applied knowledge of game concepts and strategies, purchasing, scheduling, supervising and record keeping.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must hold a CT coaching permit, have a current CPR and First Aid card, and have CT Coaching Education Program (CCEP) Module 15-Concussion and Head Injury education. Candidate should have thorough knowledge of the sport / activity and demonstrate technical and tactical knowledge of the sport. Ability to motivate high school student athletes. Consideration shall be given to past coaching experience.
