Activities Coordinator

Bethany Health Care, located in Framingham, MA is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team and help enrich the lives of our residents through engaging, meaningful, and person-centered programming. 

32 - 40  hours per week (alternate weekends required)

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and lead engaging activities that promote residents' physical, cognitive, social and emotional well-being.

• Develop programs that reflect residents' interests, abilities, and personal preferences.

• Foster meaningful engagement and enhance quality of life through person-centered programming.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident needs.

• Maintain activitiy documentation and comply with applicable regulations and standards.

Qualifications:   The right candidate will:

• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Certified or Eligibility for National Certification in Activity

• Knowledge of Senior Montessori Principles highly preferred

• Be creative and possess a positive attitude

• Have an affinity for working with older adults 

• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
