The Moorings of Arlington Heights | Part Time | Activities Department | 20 hours a week. Rotating Weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement activities, tailoring programming to address unique needs and interests, while leveraging the seven dimensions of wellness to create a balanced, enriching calendar of events.
  • Foster relationships with residents, understanding their personal stories and adapting programs to align with their preferences, abilities, and challenges.
  • Collaborate with Care Partners and other departments to enhance the quality of life for residents.
  • Design engaging event materials, including calendars and flyers, and update Touchtown displays to maximize resident participation.
  • Market programs creatively to encourage participation, especially among residents who need additional motivation.
  • Assist residents with program engagement, providing guidance, instruction, and encouragement.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Highschool/GED
  • 2+ years of activities experience.
  • English language proficiency
