Activities Assistant - Part Time (20 hours per week)

What you'll do:
- Identify and support each resident's preferences, routines, and needs; communicate updates to the care team
- Lead individual and group activities aligned with residents' interests and abilities
- Adapt activities to meet cognitive and physical levels using prompts, demonstrations, and assistance
- Encourage participation while respecting cultural and religious preferences
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe activity spaces
- Store equipment and supplies properly after use
- Collaborate with the Activity Director on programming and planning
- Complete additional duties as assigned

What we're looking for:
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- TRS or TRT certification preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in long-term geriatric care
- Experience leading or supporting activities preferred
- May be exposed to bodily fluids and communicable illnesses
- Full range of motion; able to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Adequate vision and hearing (with or without assistive devices)
- Meets facility health and screening requirements
