Activity Director Assistant

Avir Vista is looking for an Activities Assistant to join our family!

We are searching for an Activities Assistant who is resident and family-focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a facility culture. The Activities Assistant will assist in the coordination of the Activities within the facility; including and considering all resident's needs, interests, and abilities.

Qualifications for Activities Assistant:

• Previous nursing home experience preferred.

• To qualify, an Activity Director must meet at least one of these criteria: be qualified as a therapeutic recreation specialist/activities professional, have two years of relevant experience (including one year in a health care setting), be a qualified OT/OTA, or have completed an approved Activity Director training course
