Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Business Analyst to support actuarial modeling, valuation, pricing, and risk analysis for life insurance products including Term Life, Universal Life, and Pension Risk Transfer (PRT).
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in actuarial modeling, product analysis, and risk assessment within the life insurance domain. This role involves developing and validating actuarial models, supporting pricing and forecasting activities, collaborating with business stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with actuarial standards and governance processes.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5 10+ years of actuarial experience in life insurance
  • Strong experience in:
    • Actuarial modeling
    • Valuation and forecasting
    • Risk assessment and pricing analysis
  • Experience with actuarial tools:
    • GGY Axis (preferred) or MG-ALFA
  • Strong technical skills in:
    • SQL
    • Python
    • VBA
  • Experience working with large datasets and automation tools
  • Strong understanding of life insurance products and actuarial principles
  • ASA certification required; FSA preferred
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and validate actuarial models
  • Support pricing, profitability, and forecasting analysis
  • Perform model governance, validation, and documentation
  • Collaborate with Finance, Investments, IT, Product, and Underwriting teams
  • Support regulatory, audit, and compliance activities
  • Provide business insights and strategic recommendations through actuarial analysis
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Pension Risk Transfer (PRT)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience supporting enterprise transformation initiatives
