Job Summary
We are seeking an Acupuncturist to join our team! We are a medical clinic that offers various services to injured federal employees. As an Acupuncturist, you will see several patients daily, listen to their health concerns and needs, and administer appropriate acupuncture treatments based on their needs and lives. You will also be responsible for maintaining a sterile work environment, upholding all state regulations for treatment, and advising patients regarding their ongoing care and health concerns. The ideal candidate has a compassionate bedside manner, works well in a fast-paced environment, and has an excellent understanding of acupuncture, holistic medicine, and full-body wellness and healing. We are looking for a part-time professional who can work on Mondays, with the possibility of increasing the hours in the future.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet each patient and listen to their health concerns and wellness goals
- Create and implement treatments based on the patient’s individual needs
- Advise patients on life changes they can make in addition to acupuncture to help them meet their health goals
- Maintain a clean, sterile environment for all patients
- Follow all state regulations and guidelines and maintain the highest level of confidentiality
Qualifications
- Must hold a state license to practice
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with holistic and full-body wellness
