Acute Care Cardiac Nurse Practitioner Needed in Tucson, Arizona

Healthcare employer in Tucson, AZ seeks to hire an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. This is a full time position for an experienced candidate possessing prior cardiology or ICU experience in a group or hospital setting. Work with collaborating and supervisory physicians. This is a hybrid position involving both clinic and hospital rounding duties. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree with a major in nursing from a State Board of Nursing approved school of nursing with satisfactory completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program. Current AZ license highly preferred. Certified as Nurse Practitioner by the State Board of Nursing.

• Take call with Cardiologist - 1:4 weekends once acclimated.
• EMR: ECW in clinics; Cerner is EMR at the hospital
• Service large large patient base 
• No procedures

This position includes a competitive compensation and full benefits. In addition. here they offer Educational Expenses: $2,000.00 of continuing medical education expenses per calendar year, and three (3) days of PTO  to attend educational meetings.
