    Job Description:

    Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled PA or ACNP to join our Surgical Intermediate Care Unit (SIMC). This role provides a unique opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care in a collaborative and dynamic healthcare environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress.
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care.
    • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures (e.g., central line placement, arterial line placement, lumbar punctures).
    • Manage patients with complex medical conditions requiring close monitoring.
    • Educate patients and families about treatment options and preventive care.
    • Participate in rounds, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives

    Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts; weekends, holidays. No call.

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree from an accredited PA or ACNP program.
    • Current NCCPA certification (for PAs) or ACNP certification.
    • Active Maryland state licensure or eligibility.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in critical care, ED, or intermediate care preferred.
    • Advanced clinical skills, critical thinking, and excellent communication.
    • Ability to thrive independently and within a fast-paced team environment.

    Salary Range: Minimum 53.15/hour - Maximum 82.38/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
