Job Overview – Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN)
Compensation: $117,000 – $152,000/year
Location: Westchester County, NY (On-site)
Schedule: Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 7:15 PM OR Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:15 AM

TAG MedStaffing is hiring an Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) in Westchester County, NY for our client, supporting patient care, clinical assessments, and treatment within acute care units including Progressive Care and Labor and Delivery. This role provides direct patient care, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and ensures adherence to clinical standards and patient safety protocols. The position offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment with strong clinical support.

Responsibilities as the Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN):
  • Patient Care: Provide direct nursing care including assessments, treatment, and monitoring of patient conditions.
  • Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
  • Clinical Collaboration: Work with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient treatment and outcomes.
  • Patient Safety: Follow infection control standards and patient safety protocols.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with clinical standards.

Qualifications for the Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN):
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
  • Licensure: Active New York Registered Nurse license and BLS certification required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience within the applicable clinical unit required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of acute care nursing practices and patient safety standards.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with clinical systems and patient care documentation tools.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong communication, clinical judgment, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
