Licensed Practical Nurse  – Spanaway,WA

Local Pay:$40.29/hour

Travel Package:
Travel Rate (based on 37.5 hours): Hrly $18.09, Stipend (Lodging $560.00 + M&I $406.00) = $966.00, 

Total Comp:$1,644.38

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details:

• 
   Full-time, M-F, 37.5 hours/week 

Licensed Practical Nurse Duties and Responsibilities

• 
  Provide basic nursing care and health services to students in a school setting.
• 
  Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school health protocols.
• 
  Monitor and assess students’ health conditions, including illnesses, injuries, and medical needs.
• 
  Provide first aid and emergency care as needed.
• 
  Maintain accurate and confidential student health records and documentation.
• 
  Assist students with chronic health conditions, including care plans and ongoing health monitoring.
• 
  Communicate with parents, school staff, and healthcare providers regarding student health needs.
• 
  Support health screenings, wellness programs, and preventive health initiatives.
• 
  Follow school policies, safety procedures, and applicable healthcare regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 
  Must hold WA LVN/LPN license 
• 
  Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience as an LPN
• 
  Additional certifications may be required
• 
  Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
