This permanent Occupational Therapist role is based at a 198-bed, Level III trauma center serving the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah. The facility offers a broad continuum of care including medical, surgical, and rehabilitation services, a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health unit, and day surgery center. The hospital holds PCI, Mammography, and Laboratory accreditations and has been recognized among the Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals in the U.S.

The role. The Occupational Therapist will work within the acute care setting, providing evaluation and treatment to patients across the hospital's diverse inpatient units. Clinical responsibilities center on developing and implementing individualized occupational therapy plans of care, performing functional assessments, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery and safe discharge planning. The position follows a daytime schedule aligned to the unit's operational hours and contributes to a rehabilitation department that supports the region's only Level III trauma center.

What we're looking for.
  • Minimum 2 years of acute care occupational therapy experience required
  • BLS certification required at time of submission
  • All other required certifications may be obtained after hire; refer to Life Support Certification documentation for specifics
  • New Mexico state licensure or Compact licensure not required at time of application, but must be obtained prior to start date

Schedule. Full-time, daytime shift running approximately 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM; specific weekend and holiday rotation details to be confirmed during the interview process.

Compensation. $32.43 - $51.88/hr plus $1 sign-on bonus
