Our new 204-bed replacement hospital that opened in the Spring of 2024 offers many more services than a standard community hospital as were part of the BayCare family of health care facilities.Acute Physical Therapist Pool ResponsibilitiesPerform thorough evaluations of patients physical and functional status especially in complex or medically fragile cases.Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders patient goals and evidence-based practices.Provide therapeutic interventions including mobility training bed mobility transfer training gait training and neuromuscular re-education.Educate patients and caregivers on exercises mobility techniques and precautions to promote safety and recovery.Monitor and document patient progress and revise care plans as necessary.Collaborate with physicians nurses occupational therapists speech-language pathologists case managers and other healthcare team members to coordinate care.Recommend discharge plans including home therapy outpatient rehab or post-acute care based on patient progress and needs.Requirements Required BLS Basic Life SupportRequired PT Physical TherapyOr PT Physical Therapy Eligible to obtainOr PT Physical Therapy Temporary and licensure within 6 monthsRequired Bachelors Physical TherapyPreferred 1-year Physical TherapistFacility BayCare Health System Rehab Services Main-SFBHLocation South Florida Baptist Hospital - Plant City FLStatus Pool Exempt NoShift Hours 800 a.m.- 430 p.m.DaysWeekend Work NoneOn Call NoHow often will this team member be working remotely NeverEqual Opportunity Employer VeteransDisabled
