MultiCare utilizes EPIC for all electronic medical records. Department productivity standard is currently 69% for 8-hour day with expectation of 7-9 patients seen per day. All employees are expected to cross-cover both Auburn and Covington Medical Centers, so training occurs for both sites in the first month or two. Per diem staff are also expected to work a minimum of 1 holiday per year and be able to complete mandatory education/training during non-shift hours, but on the clock.
New Employee Orientation process is very rigorous for the first few weeks to a month (and would likely require some time off from an alternate position), and certain aspects are mandatory with regard to schedule. FTE: 0.4, Shift: Days, Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday, 7.5 hours per day; but flexibility is appreciated.
Position Summary
The Occupational Therapist is an exciting opportunity at MultiCare, responsible for evaluating, planning and implementing occupational therapy services for in-patients and outpatients referred for Occupational Therapy. With varied and dynamic day-to-day functions, you will apply your service orientation, analysis and good judgment toward ensuring comprehensive occupational therapy care for patients.
Responsibilities
• You will perform well in stress and emergency situations • You will perform patient evaluations/re-evaluations, establish a treatment plan, and modify the treatment plan according to the needs of the patient and response to treatment • You will perform treatment interventions for outpatient and/or inpatient population as directed • You will perform documentation in the medical record that is timely and accurate • You will communicate well with patients, peers, other health professionals in the coordination of care for the patients
Requirements
• State of Washington Occupational Therapist license • Minimum one (1) year of previous experience in occupational therapy preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $47.46 - $75.24 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
