Description
OVERALL ROLE:
The Packing Operator works to package material into boxes and prepares materials for shipping.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pack products into boxes by following instructions.
- Count products accurately using a counting machine.
- Remove any damaged or defective material before packing.
- Keep track of product counts and complete required paperwork.
- Report all discrepancies to a supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow company quality policy and objectives.
- Help ensure customers receive the correct, quality products.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to learn how to use counting meters and change core sizes.
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
