With a 225‑year legacy and a fast‑moving digital‑first newsroom, the Post operates across print, digital, video, audio, app, television and commerce, and continues to define the city's most talked‑about stories.About the RolePost Studios, the in‑house advertising strategy team, is looking for an Ad Sales Marketing Coordinator . This person will create proposals and marketing materials, work on market research and competitive analysis, help pitch and produce custom programs, and assist in managing sold campaigns.This strategic and creative marketing role will work cross‑functionally with Creative, Account Management, Ad Operations, Communications and Consumer Marketing.Core ResponsibilitiesPrimary responsibilities include:Pre‑SaleSupport marketing strategy team by participating in brainstorming conversations with internal teams to develop scalable, multi‑platform client solutionsCreate sales materials and presentations in response to RFPs, proactive opportunities and other sales requestsCoordinate pricing and media plan details with Account Management and Account ExecutivesCraft branded content concept write‑ups that effectively translate custom marketing ideas into exciting, coherent pitchesDevelop custom native campaigns, as well as sponsorship and activation opportunities to support client objectivesConduct research on clients, accounts, competitors and syndicated media for general and client‑specific sales materialsParticipate in client calls and pitch meetingsPost‑SaleHelp manage campaign executionCommunicate timelines and set reasonable expectations for product outcome and project fulfillmentMaintain positive relationships with all external partners and clientsDevelop and write branded content articlesCreate post‑campaign recap decksAttend and support sponsored events as neededTake on other projects as assignedCore Competencies / Desired Skills2+ years of marketing experiencePositive attitude, eager to learnStrong written communication skillsProject management experience and superior organizational skillsExperience creating presentations and pitch decksCreative and critical thinkingStrong collaboratorComfortable working in client‑facing capacityAbility to work within tight deadlinesWordpress, Photoshop, Facebook Ad Manager experience a plusDemonstrated knowledge of pop‑culture happenings and digital marketing trendsNote: This role follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation of being on‑site in the New York metro area three days per week (subject to change).The role also includes a discretionary bonus tied to revenue.Equal Opportunity EmployerAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status or any other protected characteristic.
