Job Description:

The Ad & Marketing Trafficking Coordinator, Local Media leads advertising trafficking, broadcast format execution, and commercial marketing initiatives supporting the CLIENT's Local Media business. Reporting to the Sales Operations & Marketing Lead, Local Media, this role is responsible for ensuring accurate and effective execution of advertising, sponsorship and marketing commitments while supporting efficient workflows and execution across Local Media platforms.

The role serves as a key liaison between Local Media and the broader Global Partnerships & Media (GPM) organization, partnering closely with GPM Ad Operations, Media Partnerships, Marketing and Sales, as well as Programming, Production, Content Planning, Technology, team contacts, and external Ad Operations vendors. This individual will support the workflows, partnerships, and standards required to deliver Local Media advertising across linear, streaming, and emerging platforms.

The Ad Trafficking & Marketing Coordinator will support day-to-day coordination with external Ad Operations vendors and internal partners. The role will also manage and support marketing and sales enablement initiatives that strengthen the positioning of Local Media's commercial offerings, bring new advertising capabilities to market, and enhance value for advertisers and partners.

Major Responsibilities

Ad Trafficking & Format Execution

• Coordinate Local Media advertising and marketing trafficking across linear, streaming, and CTV platforms, ensuring accurate and timely execution of advertising, marketing and sponsorship commitments.
• Support trafficking workflows and operating processes between Local Media, GPM Ad Operations, Marketing, and third-party Ad Operations partners, establishing clear responsibilities, handoffs, service levels, and escalation paths.
• Assist with managing Ad Operations vendor relationships and performance, including operational planning, quality control, issue resolution, resource management and requirements, and elevating continuous improvement.
• Coordinate execution of Local Media advertising formats, commercial break structures, inventory requirements (both advertising and marketing), and trafficking standards in partnership with Programming, Production, and broader GPM teams.
• Partner with Media Partnerships, Sales, and Sales Operations to translate sold campaigns, sponsorships, and new commercial opportunities into executable advertising solutions.
• Support trafficking readiness for new advertising products, formats, platforms, and capabilities, coordinating requirements across commercial, production, technology, and distribution stakeholders.
• Support the escalation and resolution for trafficking, campaign delivery, format, and other time-sensitive commercial execution issues.
• Maintain and support reporting to monitor delivery accuracy, trafficking performance, vendor effectiveness, and operational efficiency, using insights to drive continuous improvement.

Marketing & Commercial Enablement

• Partner with the Sales Operations & Marketing Lead to support marketing initiatives that align with Local Media revenue priorities and advertising and sponsorship offerings.
• Support the development of sales-enablement materials and commercial narratives covering Local Media inventory, advertising formats, platform capabilities, programming, and monetization opportunities.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Creative, Programming, and Production to develop assets and initiatives that showcase Local Media programming and commercial opportunities.
• Support efforts to enhance advertiser value and commercial storytelling through new formats, integrations, capabilities, and approaches to Local Media inventory.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operational Excellence

• Partner with GPM Ad Operations, Media Partnerships, and Sales to support Local Media priorities and requirements within broader GPM processes and commercial strategies.
• Build effective working relationships across Programming, Production, Technology, Engineering, Distribution, Finance, Marketing, and other stakeholders to support alignment between commercial objectives and operational capabilities.
• Support the development and documentation of trafficking processes and quality-control practices that enable consistent execution across Local Media markets and platforms.
• Identify and support opportunities for workflow improvements, systems optimization, and effective resource utilization to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.
• Support the continued evolution of Local Media operations as new markets, distribution platforms, inventory types, and revenue opportunities are introduced.

Required Education / Professional Experience

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in advertising trafficking, advertising operations, broadcast operations, or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience with advertising trafficking, campaign execution, and commercial inventory across linear and/or streaming media platforms.
• Experience partnering with third-party Ad Operations vendors or operational service providers.
• Experience partnering across Ad Operations, Sales, Media Partnerships, Production, Programming, Technology, and other functions within a media organization.
• Experience supporting operational processes, performance reporting, and quality-control practices.
• Sports media, live event, local/regional media, or similarly complex broadcast experience strongly preferred.

Required Skills / Knowledge Attributes

• Strong understanding of advertising trafficking workflows, campaign management, commercial inventory, and linear and streaming advertising environments.
• Strong commercial orientation with the ability to connect advertising capabilities to advertiser needs, sales priorities, and revenue opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and build relationships within highly matrixed organizations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate operational capabilities into clear commercial narratives.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage performance data and operational insights to improve execution.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving live media environments while balancing priorities with strong execution.
